Noraisa

Hello everyone! My name’s Noraisa. Please don’t call me Nora. For some reason, I feel like it doesn’t fit me, too girly for my taste. Call me Ais, Raisa, or almost anything else. I am 17 years old, taking up Business Management.

I hate vegetables. I’m a proud carnivore. I love the colors black and white, though you might argue about them being “colors.” My brother would describe me as a “bottomless pit” every time we eat. I find it hard to say no to invitations, especially when it involves going out and food. For me, travelling is never tiring or stressful. I’m an otaku, and I wish to go to Japan someday, and maybe even participate in Cosplay.

My idea of a good time? Karaoke! Singing at the top of my lungs! The correct term might be “screaming,” though. Haha.

I hope we can all be friends. =) Can’t wait to see you all!

L.A

Hi there! I am Lucille Anne Octavio but you can call me "L.A." I am 17, a freshman studying for a Bachelor of Science in Management here in University of the Philippines Visayas. I love adventure. I enjoy trying new things that are challenging and fun. I so loooooove talking and laughing and dancing.

I will be an official theater actress on Feb 2013 (please wish me luck for my first production). My passion revolves around the stage, leadership and fashion. I am scared of the dark and crossing a busy street. I smile a lot. I think a lot. And I am so random. Having a good time for me is thinking about things while having a sundae and fries. And football.

I find it interesting to socialize with people of different ethnicities, though it scares me a little. But do not worry, this is an adventure, and so I like it. I do expect to make “different” friends during this study trip- I think it will be cool because I will be meeting people of different ethnicities, exchange interesting things from our cultures, and gaining more thoughts to think through with my sundae and fries.

I really, really, really can't wait to meet you all! :)

Zherluck

Mabuhay! I’m Zherluck (pronounced as Sher-lak). But for the benefit of everybody, I can be called “Zhe”. I’m a second year student of BS Business Administration, majoring in Marketing.

As my friends say I am “loka-loka” (crazy in English) but actually I don’t know if it’s a compliment or an insult. I love sports such as Swimming, Softball, Table Tennis, and Volleyball but it seems that these sports hate me. I really want to be as active as possible because I want to burn the fat on my belly. I think I’m getting fatter and fatter as time goes because eating and tasting different varieties of food is one of my interests. The more exotic the food is, the more interested I am to taste it.

My idea of having a good time is trying out new things with new friends. Good food and a good place with good people, that’s what my idea of a good time is.

Paolo

Ola! My name is Paolo. I’m in my first year of college taking up BSBA and majoring in Marketing. I just don’t know why marketing but it’s my nature to find myself ending up in things that I’m not sure of.

I so much love many things and it includes exploring everything that surrounds me. I love being with different kinds of people because that’s the only way that I can think in terms of expressing the way I feel.

My only idea of a good time is to have fun. A lot of fun! It’s the only thing in this world that I can’t live without. And when I say fun, it includes eating, eating and EATING!

Pete

Leader, Versatile, Talented, Humble, Sensitive, Humorous, Kind and Cheerful. These are the words that best describe who I am.

Hi there! My name is Peter Glenn, 22 years old, SINGLE but still heart broken. You may call me “Pete” or “Peter” but not “PET”. I’m a 4th year BA Community Development and Management student in the University of the Philippines Visayas. I live in the CITY OF LOVE, where all of you will visit soon. I love acting, cooking, dancing, debating, diving, hosting, teaching, painting, playing volleyball and performing martial arts. Having a golden voice is my dream but sadly, it will remain a dream. I hate people who are arrogant, pretentious and dishonest. My greatest FEARS are SPIDERS and SNAKES. Seeing them will make me go crazy. If you want to know more about me, please don’t hesitate to spend time with me.

On the other hand, I expect to learn something NEW from all of you. At the end of the day, what matters to me most is that we’ll be able to build a strong, mutual, understanding and long lasting friendship.

My idea of a GOOD TIME is just simply talking and eating with SOMEONE who loves me in a place where HAPPINESS is a guarantee.
